See our regulatory status.
Who can use the service?
Corporates, institutions, NGOs and high net worth individuals, once our compliance team has approved their application.
Which countries do you serve?
We focus on payments to and from emerging markets, in particular in Africa. We do not serve the restricted jurisdictions.
How do I apply?
Through the online application, with your company documents and the details of your directors, beneficial owners and authorised users. The documents we request are listed on our client due diligence page.
How long does approval take?
It depends on the completeness of the application and on the client's risk profile. We contact you if anything is missing.
How does a payment work?
You place an order on the client portal with the beneficiary, the purpose of the payment and a supporting document. Our Compliance function reviews it; once approved, we confirm the rate and the amount to transfer, you fund the order, and the payment is executed by a regulated financial institution. See how it works.
How long does a payment take?
Once your funds are received and reconciled, the payment is usually initiated the same or the next business day. The time to reach the beneficiary depends on the currency and the beneficiary's bank.
Where do I send the funds?
Only to the segregated IRETI Client Account with our partner bank shown in your order confirmation, from your own bank account and quoting the transaction reference. You are never asked to pay a third party.
Can a payment be rejected?
Yes. Our Compliance function may reject a payment request, or ask for more information, before any funds are requested. You are told the reason by email where the law allows it.
How much does it cost?
Payments with a currency conversion are quoted at an all-in exchange rate, with no separate fee. Payments without a conversion carry a volume-based fee agreed with you upfront. The rate or fee and the amount to transfer are confirmed to you before you transfer any funds.
Can the bank charge more?
Intermediary or beneficiary banks may deduct their own charges, depending on the currency and the route of the payment.
How are my funds protected?
Client funds are held in the segregated IRETI Client Account with our partner bank, separately from our own funds, and used only to execute the payment you approved.
What if I receive a suspicious payment request?
We never ask you to pay any account other than the one in your order confirmation, and never announce new bank details by email. See fraud awareness.
How is the portal secured?
Access is personal to each authorised user and protected by two-factor authentication.
How do I contact you?
By email at info@ireticapital.com, or through the contact page.
How do I make a complaint?
See our complaints procedure.
